NEW LIFE CHURCH

​Nepali New Life Church Oxford was founded on September 30, 2012. Before its establishment, a Nepali family was attending The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Abingdon and traveling every Saturday to the Swindon Nepalese Fellowship for three years. After being posted to Dalton Barracks in Abingdon, we discovered more Nepali believers living in the Oxford and Abingdon areas. This led us to begin meeting for a midweek Nepali fellowship at our homes. As the group grew, some members found it challenging to fully participate in the English-language services at RCCG, so we decided to focus on our fellowship meetings while continuing to attend the Swindon Nepalese Fellowship. Over time, our numbers increased, and traveling to Swindon became more difficult. Consequently, we sought a local meeting place and found the Rosehill Old Community Centre in Rosehill, where we met happily from around 2012 to 2016. From March 2016 to March 2026, we met at Littlemore Village Hall. Since April 2026, we have been holding our services at St. Matthew Church in Oxford.
