OUR BELIEFS

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our Faith Statement

  1. We believe in one eternal God, creator of heaven and earth, revealed in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 1:1-3; Matthew 28:19).

  2. We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son, who was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again in victory (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 3:16).

  3. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, empowering us for worship, service, and holy living (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23).

  4. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, the ultimate authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

  5. We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace received through faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in new life and eternal hope (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6).

  6. We believe in the importance of the local church as the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, disciple-making, and sharing the Gospel (Matthew 28:19-20; Hebrews 10:25).

  7. We look forward to the personal return of Jesus Christ and the fulfilment of God's eternal kingdom (Titus 2:13; Revelation 22:20).

Our mission is to love God passionately, serve others faithfully, and share the Gospel boldly, all for the glory of God.

Vision Statement

New Life Church Oxford envisions a vibrant community rooted in the love of the Triune God, committed to transforming lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We aim to be a light in Oxford and beyond, inspiring believers to grow in faith, fellowship, and service, while actively reaching out to our local community and global mission fields.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to make disciples of all nations, fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by proclaiming the Gospel, nurturing believers in biblical truth, and demonstrating Christ’s love. We focus on evangelism, discipleship, and outreach, both locally and globally, trusting in the Holy Spirit and the power of the Gospel to bring salvation and transformation.
